Outside of the obvious famous big cities that surround Delaware, like New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlantic City, etc, I tried to include some KEY things to do in Wilmington, Delaware here, for those who maybe don't have the time to travel more abroad on the East Coast for a little longer to see some of the more famous tourist attractions. The above named, you'll have to research on your own, & it shouldn't be too difficult to do so at all.
But if you'd like to see some of the things in the immediate surrounding Wilmington downtown area, I've tried to include some good options for almost everyone who's not familiar with Wilmington. I'm sure that most people will at least be able to use the restaurant/bar links for starters. However, there is a great deal of history in Delaware, as it was The First State'. There are historical & interesting sites all around Wilmington, even just to the south in 'Old Historic' New Castle. We really appreciate everyone that's making a great effort to travel such long distances to be at our wedding, & we sincerely hope this helps make your trip much more enjoyable & easier to plan.
